You must be an employee of a recognised UK infrastructure industry organisation or
UK Government department or trade organisation representing the national infrastructure industry or
An organisation employed on national infrastructure contracts or
Where your work involves enforcement (Police Service, National Crime Agency, Environment Agency or local government)
Applicants who do not meet the above criteria will have the merits of their application to join the NICRP considered against the aims and objectives of the scheme on a case-by-case basis
No applicant has any automatic right to membership
Those applicants who are employed or self employed by security provision companies will need to be sponsored by their client who is a recognised national infrastructure organisation (power, telecommunications, rail, transport, construction and heritage) and who is a member of the NICRP. Due diligence checks may be carried out to support acceptance or rejection of the application
